Beast Ashtray x Known Gallery

 Joe Hahn made a movie called Mall, and this show was different artist interpretations of the movie. Even though I haven't seen the movie, the pieces were so amazing.

Joss Whedon x Gallery 1988

I stood in line opening night for the Joss Whedon tribute show at Gallery 1988. It was so fun looking for obscure references to Whedon's shows/movies. I wish there were more Dollhouse pieces though.

My favorite piece from the show is of River from Firefly

I brought a couple friends to Corey Helford's Circa gallery for the Art Collector Starter Kit show. We had a fangirl moment with Brandi Milne

Lyric cins: Lita Ford series

 Rock legend, Lita Ford, lead guitarist for The Runaways, came to work today for a Meet and Greet. I made some lyric sheets in anticipation.

 This might be a new design exercise for me. Mixing music and design is just logical.

 The Merry Karnowsky gallery held Craola's solo show, "Good Knight" May 17th, 2014.

 He steps it up every single time.

 I cannot stop staring at all the details and hidden imagery, especially when the size of a lot of the new paintings are enormous.

 "The Hunting Party" was one of my favorite pieces that night.

3D Printing machines are mesmerizing.

I've been staring at these earrings from Soon Salon for practically a year. I'm pretty sure I would never wear them, but I still can't stop imagining the process in creating them. 

Ribbon Lei...

 It's graduation season, and both my sister and my cousinish have officially earned the title of Doctor this past week. Honestly, the graduation ceremonies snuck up on me, and I had to scramble to request time off and make this lei for Cousinish T.

She sent me this link to sakacon.com with the DIY instruction. The project is not complicated, but it is time consuming, and well worth it in the end.

Iron infographic...
