love shack mural...
About a year and half ago, I moved 55 miles from the South Bay for my current job. There was a non-existent social life in the city I moved to, so I drove down almost every single weekend for a year. Taking PCH from Malibu to Manhattan Beach is not a bad drive. I was always curious about the Love Shack, although I admit never stopping to go inside, it was a landmark I looked forward to during the commutes. A few weeks ago, I was delighted to see the entire facade was painted over by Chase. I'm pretty sure I caused some traffic trying get a clear look as I drove past.

Gallery 1988: Venice...
The inaugural show at Gallery 1988: Venice is opening this Saturday! Their San Francisco spot has closed and moved closer to me, haha. 'Multiplayer' combines art posters and video games.
I think I have to go just to buy Kevin Tong's 'My Tetris Heart Longs for Your Push' poster.
Click on Kevin's poster to see his process video.
