a signature Koibito painting, which I instantly fell in love with...
amazing textures and vibrant colors...
with a backdrop of 100 yoskayfied astro boy heads bolted to the wall called "Do You Remember Me?"
humble and awesome artist that he is, Yoskay did a sketch for me too!

at Deva Loka & Tell Me a Story...

i had a busy weekend filled with a baby shower and birthdays, but i managed to squeeze in the opening for Yoshitaka Amano's Deva Loka show and Yoskay Yamamoto's Tell Me A Story installation at LeBasse Projects...
Amano's pieces are huge, lacquered, and glittery!
I was just in awe standing in Yamamoto's intallation. His colorful Yoskayfied rain makes me happy.

urban jewelry...

for some reason over-sized things are just enthralling. these pieces are by Belgian designer Liesbeth Bussche somewhere in the streets of Tielrode Belgium. it's jewelry for the streets and i like it!
