At Picking Up Where We Left Off...

I had a packed schedule last weekend, but I HAD to stop by opening night of Yoskay Yamamoto's solo show at LeBasse Projects "Picking Up Where We Left Off". So between helping out a friend and going out in Santa Monica, I stopped in Culver City. Midnight Blossom was my favorite piece at this show.

familiar strangers...

Yoskay Yamamoto put on a beautiful solo show at LeBasse Projects. I picked up my friend and aritst, Rachel, and we drove out to Culver City at 8pm. There were installations in metal and wood...
a signature Koibito painting, which I instantly fell in love with...
amazing textures and vibrant colors...
with a backdrop of 100 yoskayfied astro boy heads bolted to the wall called "Do You Remember Me?"
humble and awesome artist that he is, Yoskay did a sketch for me too!
