at Inle...


March 11th was marked in my calendar the second I read in Craola's blog that he was curating a show at Gallery 1988: Melrose months ago. The show was called 'Inle,' the rabbit name for 'moon' based on "Watership Down" by Richard Adams, and about 100 artists were invited to exhibit. I'm so infatuated with Craola's piece, I ordered the canvas print even though I have NO wall space to hang it. There were so many favorites in addition to Craola's, Audrey Kawasaki's, Brian Despain's...

Tin Machines and Mercuric Dreams...

Opening Friday, February 11th, is Tin Machines and Mercuric Dreams at Roq La Rue in Seattle. Brian Despain paints robots I'd want to befriend any day. Of course, I'm loving this piece with the heart...
