Empathy Cards...

There are the days you accidently spend an hour reading greeting cards in a store, laughing at all the one liners. Then there are the days you purposely spend an hour searching for the perfect card for the things you cannot find your own words for and simply end up exhaling at the futility.

Cancer survivor, Emily McDowell made a series of cards she wished she received while she was going through treatment, and the whole concept is genius. Much love.

i designed my own christmas cards this year. here is a little preview of the card...
i am currently printing and cutting little stickers to seal the envelopes.

heart tree card...

i designed a card for a friend's engagement party. it's not an original idea. i actually got the idea from their invitation and matched the concept of a tree with heart leaves...

there's a tiny yellow diamond pattern on the card. i designed an envelope with the diamond pattern on the inside lining to match. this one was quick and fun to make.
