Sanrio: Small Gift...

(Peekaboo Monster "Sanrio Club")
(Audrey Kawasaki "Tabo Friends")
It's Sanrio celebration time; 50 years of cute character culture! Previews for the Sanrio 50th Anniversary Celebration: Small Gift are popping up in everyone's blogs. the art show is curated by JapanLA and the artist list is awesomeness!
(Joe Ledbetter "Carpool")
It starts today Nov 12 and ends Nov 21. That's a shorter exhibit than the Hello Kitty Three Apples show last year. Go and go quickly! I can't wait to see the ginormous balloons of Sanrio characters.
(Camilla D'Errico "Apple Sauce")
(Eric Joyner "Hello Topiary")
The most epic piece has to be Martin Hsu's "Sanrio 50th Family Vacation" painting. Definitely can't wait to see this in person.

Zerofriend shirts...

There are new shirts at Zerofriends! Alex Pardee & Camilla D'errico, Craola... I'm loving the colors in Camilla & Alex's shirt called Disassembled Tears.

from Camilla's blog describing Disassembled Tears: “In a place unimagined by humans, in a world populated by androids, life and drama play out their cruel fate on a girl’s heart. This android lives her normal, happy life in a junk pile until the day she is dumped. The crow that sits on her head is her doom and he’s come to caw triumphantly during her final moments, as she begins to fall apart.”

camilla d'errico's comic 'burn' was posted online last week. this is an excerpt from her website: "for anyone who’s heard of my comic book BURN, it’s now a WEBCOMIC! Read it for free, then stop by my booth to pick up your copies of the floppies. These will not be reprinted since Simon Schuster is publishing BURN as a graphic novel in October!!"read it on the arcana comics website.
