This past Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, must be recorded as an epic gallery hopping adventure. We began the night at
Kevin Tong's first solo show at the
Phone Booth Gallery in Long Beach.

These are test prints where things aren't aligned and different images are overlapping. The effect is pretty cool and intricate.

Hologram Hummingbirds was my favorite piece.

Kevin was selling prints as well as t-shirts. My boyfriend bought the Binary Heartbeat shirt and wore it the next day. A couple of my friends from CSULB showed up and it was nice little reunion. The show will be up until Septemper 10th and you can
order prints online.

After Kevin's show, we drove clear across the South Bay to Culver City to see
David Choong Lee's Acquiring Signals show at
LeBasse Projects. We ran into a friend from high school outside the gallery, and we all walked in to see over 500 pieces stacked, balanced and displayed by color coordination inside.

It was a well attended show. I even said hello to Yoskay Yamamoto and Martin Hsu!
We ended the night by stopping by
Corey Helford Gallery for
Eric Joyner's Donut Logic.

All the colors exhausted me by the end of the night, and that made me happy.
