this is "The Nest Keeper Waiting" by Blaine Fontana. he and an artist friend cast three dimensional versions and Fontana hand painted and decorated an army of 30 nestkeepers.
he's selling them for $800 each. Arrested Motion has images of all thirty at multiple angles...
i think this one is my favorite. they're all pretty cool. i like his art; remember i bought his koi print.first article i saw on the nest keepers was on if it's hip it's here.
