ghostpatrol

someone's going to catch me smiling at the computer screen while i browse Ghostpatrol's portfolio site. notcot put up a link to his pencil sets today. it's a new concept of "canvas" and i love it.
his illustrations are cute, whimsical, sometimes disturbing, always amusing. i kinda wanna try to make one too now :P

blutsbruder...

a lot of things in this world are artificial now. some you can tell and some you can't. i think the images that blutsbruder contributes to ad culture are disturbingly awesome. my favorite combination...
blutsbruder has an impressive portfolio, but my favorite page on their site is the "making of." you roll over the image and it shows you what was rendered and what was photographed.

virgine maillard...

by the recommendation of notcot.org i went to look at Virginie Maillard's online portfolio. she's a french illustrator and graphic designer. i was mesmerized by her site: the slender growing graphics, matching colors from her graphic pieces to the website elements. there was a minor pang of guilt that i never got into a web design class...
see the little worm? it inches down as the little girl walks away...

in unrelated news: today is Sweden's Semicolon day! ;)
